Project Overview
A live billiard system that lets customers check availability and reserve before travelling, while operators control tables, payments, session time, extensions, TV displays, customer history, and reporting from one workspace.
The Billiard Order & Timer System connects the customer journey and venue floor through one live table record. Availability, reservations, payments, session time, extensions, display links, customer history, and reporting stay visible without separate manual trackers.

The Challenge
Customers at home could not tell whether a table was free, so they had to travel to the venue or ask through repeated chats. Operators meanwhile tracked reservations, remaining time, extensions, and table status manually, making overlapping bookings and timer mistakes more likely during busy shifts.
Priorities and constraints
- Keep public table availability synchronized with operator controls
- Make every active timer visible and adjustable without losing session context
- Give each table a dedicated full-screen display without exposing admin controls
- Keep customer and admin surfaces readable across mobile, tablet, desktop, and television

Decisions Behind the Work
A table is one live record, whether someone is reserving from home or managing the venue floor.
- Availability before the visit
The customer journey starts before arriving at the venue.
Live table availability, duration selection, reservation and payment proof form one public path. The operator reviews that same context rather than reconstructing a booking from separate conversations.
- A display with one job
A television needs the remaining time, not the admin workspace.
Dedicated table links isolate the full-screen countdown from operational controls. The urgent red state communicates the end of a session, while starts, pauses and extensions remain with the operator.
The Solution
We designed a public venue journey where customers can see live table availability, choose a table and duration, reserve a session, and submit payment proof before travelling. A separate admin workspace controls the shared table map, payment verification, session starts, pauses, extensions, customer records, settings, and reports. Each table has its own TV link with a clean countdown that switches to an urgent red state as time runs out.
